You remind me of the Head-On commercials I've been seeing on CNN so
much lately watching the news on Lebanon.

(irritating female voice)
Head-On, apply directly to your forehead.

or something like that. Sheesh they never even tell you why to apply
it to your forehead. Headache maybe?

Was damned hot lately til we had a nice thundershower cool things off.
I am on vacation this week and went over to Republic HD to see the new
Ultras and Road Kings the salesman called me yesterday about. I made
the mistake of leaving my name and number awhile back when I thought I
could afford an upgrade. Anyway I went there and a different salesman
says "I don't know anything about any '07s coming in", then he
prceeded to try and sell me a screaming eagle road king from '05. I
told him I'd check back later, maybe they weren't uncrated yet. Anyway
I mainly went there to find some 70 wt for my shovel which they didn't
have. I proceeded to the next closest indy, Ghost Riders, and they are
gone. I was headed to the next closest, Full Throttle, when the storm
rolled in. I just got home before the bottom fell out.

That's three batteries, that makes 36 Volts...of course it clicks. Take
two out and charge one battery. Clean the connectors and fire it up.

Ride it for a while and check if the battery is charging.

It's like Ramius said in Hunt For Red October:
Ramius: 'Give me a battery, Vasily. One battery only please!'

You'll need to find different entertainment while recuperating. I
injured my shoulder/collarbone a little over a month ago playing
frisbee at the beach. I would throw it into the wind in shallow water
and chase it down. I made a diving catch in about a foot of water and
came down hard on my shoulder. Lucky I didn't break my neck. It hurt
so bad, while underwater I reached around to see if it was dislocated.
It wasn't and I stood up and tried to move it around. Much pain. I
couldn't move the arm certain ways without a lot of pain. I couldn't
swim worth a damn so cut the beach trip short. I had my kids with me
and let them drive home. I took aspirin which helped. I had to lift my
left arm with my right one to wash my hair and it hurt a lot to do it.
The injury happenned Wednesday the 14th of June. By Saturday my
shoulder was improved but still painful. I took the Yamaha I am
babysitting for its 10 mile weekly ride and it was not very
comfortable for the shoulder. I say shoulder but it is a combination
of shoulder and collarbone that hurts. The little knob that sticks up
on the shoulder where the collarbone attaches is still larger and sore
but not nearly as sore to the touch as it was a month ago. I told
myself that if it was still hurting by this weeks vacation I would go
see the primary care physician to see about getting x-rayed. I still
hurt but not enough to go see the doc. I have nearly 100% range of
motion with almost no pain but some things like lifting a gallon of
milk into the fridge hurts like hell and sleeping on it is painfull
unless I put my arm under the pillow a certain way. If the pain isn't
completely gone by my next week of vacation starting August 14th I
will go see the doc and have my foot checked out too. That bugger's
been hurting for 4 months when I took a hard line drive off the top of
it while coming in for a play at 3rd base in my softball league.
Thought it might be broken but I could still walk on it so have been
putting up with a little pain there too.

Anyway, I hope you heal quick and if surgery is necessary it goes as
well as it can. As for the head-on commercials, I saw a gazillion of
them since we were trying to keep up with the turmoil as my daughter's
boyfriend and his younger brother have been in south Lebanon for
vacation for a few weeks. He was just outside Sidon and was fearing
for his life as some Israeli bombs came very close to where they were
staying. Anyway his parents in Rijad, Saudi Arabia also visiting
relatives and working there got the kids and a couple cousins out
yesterday by a company driver from Beirut to Syria where they caught
a plane to Rijad. Happy days have returned for my daughter who was an
emotional basket case since Saad told her he didn't think he'd get out
alive,
