#1: Signal flasher

Posted on 2006-07-17 19:47:06 by Mike White

What do I need to do to stop my signal lights from flashing extremely fast.
I thought I would need a heavy duty flasher but can't seem to find it.

I'd guess you need to tell which model the bike is before
anyone can tell you where the flasher is.
Also, on some flasher units they will flash fast if there is
extra resistance caused by a bad connection at a bulb base.
You could pull each bulb, make sure bulb/socket contacts are
clean and reinstall with dielectric lube.

Also, the flasher display flashes faster if one of the bulbs has blown
out.

I found the problem. I was hooking up trailer lights and put the plug in
after the adapter to make my signal lighs brake lights. I put it in before
the adapter and everything works fine. But thanks
