Hi Viatologists,
Interstate 80, the second longest Interstate in the USA, has a very
interesting layout near Reno centre. How so?It goes beneath an
unorthodox concrete tunnel. Of course, the tunnel itself wouldn't be
spectacular... What if I told you that Walgreen's (a drug store)
dominates the top of this structure? You might be wondering to
yourself, what would this look like? Well, the Worldwide Highway
Library offers a view of westbound I-80 at the tunnel's opening:

(Using WHL-360 technology)
For those not aware of Reno, it's less than 30 kilometres from the
California border from many directions. If you like mountains,
there's also the nearby and snow-capped Mount Rose, accessible by
State Route 431. Do you like lakeside getaways? About an hour away
is Pyramid Lake via State Route 445. Though Nevada is often known for
its desert scenery, it small sliver of the Sierra Nevada Mountains
gives its western reaches tall pines and plenty of snow.
So, you've heard of WHL-360 technology. So what is it? It's a
special algorithm that allows you to, from one fixed location, view a
highway from *any* angle. Front, side and rear! WHL-360 uses a
special proprietary engine in an Apple Quicktime wrapper.
Enjoy!
Cheers,

We are all to well familiar with that, "WHL360," is. You keep telling

Yeah, maybe sometimes I do feel like shit.

Why don't you give me a ring next time your in town? We could have a
smashing time, I'm sure. Not saying I would smash your face in, I'm
saying we would have a "good' time as smashing is British slang for
"good." But as a sooooooooooophisticated world traveler, you probably
already knew that.

Then the California border would have to be circular or an arc...which it's
not.
And since the primary audience of the two groups you addressed this to are
in the North America, specifically, the US, it is silly to give distances in
metrics, which are little used in the US. But then you know that already,
don't you?
