I'm involved in a conversation on one of the cycling groups where
someone cannot see what the benefit could be to not producing a
license when a park ranger demands it because they were walking a dog
off-leash. What's the word you're always using for this stuff?
Conditioning?

It's not my word, I picked it up somewhere, but yeah. And I'm used to
