So? are you telling me that I don't know how old my own cars are?
The *newest* vehicle I own is a '93 model, and I purchased it late
last year. I've driven it over 100 miles in a day with no issues.
Not farther simply because I haven't had any need to; it's a gas-hog
of a pickup truck so it's only used whenever I actually need to haul
something bulky or heavy. It's not rusty, nothing's falling apart on
it, and all I've done to it since I got it was to replace all the
fluids, have the tires balanced, replace the shocks (only one was bad,
but hey, while you're in there, make it good for another 15 years) and
front wheel bearings. Oh, and I replaced the oil pan gasket to make
it stop dripping oil in my driveway. Doesn't smoke, holds good oil
pressure, trans. shifts nicely, rear end doesn't whine, why should I
even worry about it? Yup, sure is worn out all right. Guess I'll
have to trade it in on a newer model. (I don't think so. I might
trade it in on an OLDER model though, if I find something that strikes
my fancy, because some of the older trucks just had more style.)

I'll have a good laugh at your expense when it passes its annual
safety inspection with flying colors next month. Just like the
Porsche did (omigod, at 19 years old) a few months ago.

No, Little Boy. I'm saying that your claim that the bottom of the
depreciation curve occurrs well after most of the AmeriKKKan fleet has been
scrapped and off the road is just laughable nonsense.
