Hi Viatologists,
As of today, the *new* Worldwide Highway Library adds the Czech Republic to
its easy-to-use web interface:
http://worldwide-hwys.calrog.com
Photographs > Europe > Czech Republic
You may remember the former Czechoslovakia from your childhood... The
combined nation went through periods of communism and democracy before
splitting into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the early 1990s. The WHL
shows road photos from the capital of the former nation and modern
counterpart, Prague. Czech National Route 1, 6 and 7 give you a look at the
historic districts and nearby airports. Despite its reputation as an
air-polluted nation, the Czech Republic seems quite green w/ the plethora of
trees around.
Enjoy!
Cheers,

Is there any proof that anyone in either the Czech Republic or the Slovak
Republic requested this? Moreover, C [at] lr0g the Chickensh!t, why didn't you
try to post this in basic Czech? Because Babelfish doesn't have a
C [at] lrog-to-Czech translator?

Hey! Moron! I was in my thirties when the Soviet bloc broke up. I
remember it from my adulthood. Just because you were a child when it
happened doesn't mean everyone was!
The world according to Carl - he experienced soemthing one way so everyone
else must have, too

I usually make it a policy not to respond to this nonsense, but this
made me laugh out loud. Since when is there a "reputation" that the
Czech Republic is polluted? I have never once heard anyone make that
reference - in fact, most people fondly recall Prague as one of the
most pristine, intact cities for historical buildings and flavor.
Making up words is one thing, but alleging false stereotypes is just
insulting.

Jak se mate/ma=9A? :)
Great, he's entered the Slavic world... I hope he doesn't add Russia.
I'll have some very irritated friends if he does. I promise you that
no one I know from Russia will make any requests.

Maybe we could talk Putin in to coming and giving Carl a few choice words.

Nah, he'd just send an FSB agent over, undercover, and poison him...
possibly with some radioactive material, say polonium? ;)

Oh nose, then how would he nobble his visitor stats to make his site
look more popular than it actually is? Nevar mind the Google Ad revenue.
I hear now that he's made himself a shiny dime!

As far as I know, the Czech Republic is populated with an unfair stereotype
of hot, large-chested blondes with perfect cheekbones and not at all
burdened with those stupid Western morals.

Shhh...you just revealed the source of many of the Sports Illustrated
swimsuit models over the past few years. :)
