Hi Viatologists,
Between the city of Salinas, California and the Pacific Coast is a
lesser-known road. Known as State Route 183, the predominantly two-laned
corridor passes through coastal farms and the community of Castroville en
route to its northern terminus. The Pacific Coast terminus, if you will, is
a town called Moss Landing.
The Worldwide Highway Library now provides a nighttime capture of State
Route 183, not far from its interchange w/ the California 156 freeway:
