Hi Viatologists,
California State Route 68 helps bridge a connection between Salinas and
Monterey/Carmel. For those who enjoy golf and temperate climates, Carmel is
the place to be! With world-renowned golf courses like Pebble Beach and
Spanish Bay, and tiny coffee shops along the city's downtown strip, be
prepared to fork over much cash for the privilege. Many people fly into Los
Angeles or San Francisco to reach the Carmel area. By car, a trek along US
Federal Route 101 is part of the journey. When taking that trek, simply
catch State Route 68 in Salinas and head westward.
