So I was driving along in the right lane (4 lane divided highway) and I
see two vehicles up ahead. There's a pickup truck in the right lane,
and a older model Subaru Impreza in the left lane about one or two car
lengths behind it.
As I catch up to them, I see no change in the relative position of the
Subaru in relation to the pickup truck. When I get around five car
lengths behind the pickup truck, it signals and changes lanes to the
left. Almost immediately, the Subaru driver starts flashing it's high
beams and starts signaling to go to the right lane, but I had caught up
and was starting to pass them on the right, so the PLB wasn't able to
change lanes immediately. I pass it, speed up to about 70 to 75 mph.
The former PLB then switches to the right lane, and starts keeping up
with me.
We get to a traffic light. We stop, and the PLB is now beside me in the
left lane. When the light changes, I notice the PLB keeping up with me
(I accelerate faster than most drivers here). I make sure that this
person doesn't stay beside me, so I just floor it and leave them behind.
I guess that the PLB didn't like the fact that it couldn't use me to
help it block faster traffic, nor did it like me behind able to pass it
so easily ;)

That's what I call a wanna be cop. They are quite dangerous.
