Alternate US Federal Route 101 video [message #792822] Sat, 02 February 2008 05:43
Carl Rogers
Hi Viatologists,

The Worldwide Highway Library has recently walked the streets of San José,
California. In doing so, a video of Alternate US Federal Route 101 was
made:

http://worldwide-hwys.calrog.com/alt-us-101v.html

Enjoy!

Coverage within discusses the orientation of the route, relative to the 101
Freeway. You can also see an interesting shield diagram from eastbound
Tully Road. The neighbourhood we're in is largely influenced by Vietnamese
immigrants. San José is an interesting city that blends wide pockets of
individuals who speak Tagalog, Vietnamese, Cantonese and Punjabi, in
addition to languages that others already expect: English and Spanish.

Cheers,

Carl Rogers

Since I had a week off I did some visiting with the family, and I asked
Nathan if he wanted to see a CalQaeda video. The following were his
unsolicited comments: 'What's wrong with his voice?' and 'What a
douche'. My Ex asked 'What's a Federal Highway? He's standing by a US
Highway sign.' She also was wondering if he lived in a group home.

Heh... he should do one of his (in)famous videos of it. Maybe the
'hospital' will invite him in and lock the doors.

One can only hope.

You mean you're advertising a Web site showing the viewpoint of someone
walking down a highway? Worth watching only if the video ends with said
walker merging with appreciable force into the front grill of a truck going
50 MPH.

Considering how many of your recent updates have been received, I'd hold off
on promoting your site any more, at least until you got the basic HTML
layout working.
