got stuck behind a four-wide on the Beltway today at about 40-45 MPH.
No particular reason other than there was medium-heavy rain. Guy in a
BMW was directly behind the first car in the hammer lane, saw him flash
the LLB a couple times, but apparently people either don't understand or
are basically idiots (I'm voting both.)

Once I managed to get past, by following a car in the rightmost lane
which was doing about 46 MPH, traffic was spectacularly light. What a
waste of highway space, solely due to people driving like morons. Wish
there'd been a cop to see it, as this was in VA so it would have been a
ticketable offense.
