Nice video, that is a great bridge! I haven't crossed it since shortly
after it was built.

I see you got your picture frame a bit tighter, that black blanket
does make a difference, your "frame" looks really good.

You may want to consider tilting your lens upwards just a tick, it
will take a little more of your hood & wipers out off the frame.

I hope to shoot Jax, maybe later this year.

Thanks for the ride,
Freewayjim

It is a nice one. The first time I drove over it was in 1989 not long
after it opened when most of 9A was yet to be built; infact parts of 9A
from the bridge to 95 were still 2 lanes with traffic lights at the
time....

Thanks. I shot the 9A footage after having some lunch and I reset the
tri-pod so that it was more level than it had been and I also pulled the
passenger seat forward against the legs to make things more stable.
Seems to have worked well. I'm not sure what happened with the Ferry
shoot that got so much dashboard in the frame unless the camera moved
after I started driving. I still have about an hour of A1A footage from
Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island to look at to see if I have any
decent scenes there.

I look forward to seeing the results. I plan to hit J-ville again in a
couple of weeks and get some footage of the Hart and Matthews Bridges
(the latter having received a new road surface on the main span that
replaced the, "new," grating that was installed in the late '90's) as
well as some of IH95 through the city and the new interchange of
IH95/IH295 and FL9A on the south side of the city.

Just a word of note, there is a lot of construction on IH95 from the
Trout River to the 10/95 merge and IH95 south of the river is an,
"enhanced enforcement zone," where traffic fines are higher.
