When did you move to South Carolina?

This kind of shit is commonplace here, and our traffic density is
nowhere near what you're contending with. Freaking idiots out here.
Guess that's why we rank near the top in road side litter, deaths per
miles traveled, teen pregnancies, high school drop out rates, and near
the bottom nationwide on an educational level.

Gee, I wonder if there's any correlation? :-)

You're lucky. That's exactly how my little 1980 Datsun, who couldn't
outrun her Buick, got killed, except that the cow was making a left turn
into me instead of a right. 10 years old and the bottom was immaculate.
Not so much as a drop of oil on the underside. I still curse that
woman. Nobody has a right to be that stupid.

You scared me there, Scott. For a moment I thought you had moved to J-
ville, but then upon closer inspection, you said IH5, not IH95, though
the driving asshattery described could have just as easily happened on
this side of IH10. ;)

It snows on the Grapevine?

I wonder if it snows on the Cajon Pass.

Uhhhh... hell, yeah, the Cajon Pass is 4,200 feet high at Cajon Summit.

In fact, the Pass was closed last night due to snow. And it even snowed a
little here in Victorville this morning! Woohoo - I miss snow :D

Sorry, Scott; only those of us who live in "The Southland" know what
you mean when you said "The Southland" (the Greater Los Angeles and
Vicinity's name for itself).

I do... but then again, I've listened to a radio station out there on
occasion over the internet to catch one national show or another.
