I like the cameras, mostly, too.
Unfortunately, the accuracy isn't perfect.
There was something a while ago about at least one person who used the
camera data from his photo and another to prove that he wasn't
speeding.
I have no problem with the people who provide the location of the RLCs
and speed cameras. If the idea is to get people to slow down, posting
the information works just fine.
OTOH, yesterday I saw a license plate that had a plastic cover over
it. You could barely read the plate data from 100 feet away. I'm
sure the purpose was to defy the cameras. I don't know why these
things, as well as plate frames that cover the state, etc, are even
legal.
