Me too. Long time Dodge owner, dumped the Dakota for a Prius last
summer. Going from 14mpg to 47mpg is so nice I doubt I'll ever go back.

Back when I lived in CA, I used it's hauling capabilities on occasion.
But mainly I bought it because it was the only thing I found at the time that
fit me ergonomically. And was stick shift.
Actually, even up to last year I hauled garden equipment, truckfuls of
mulch or firewood on occasion. When I decided to trade it for a car, my
husband worried that we wouldn't have anything to haul stuff in anymore. But
the truck was a horrible commuter, and for the two-three times a year when we
need to haul something, I think we can rent a truck.
