OT; that's the last time I go to work. [message #788436] Thu, 20 July 2006 23:56
Eatmorepies
Because I have just got home from my retirement do. About 9 years early but
it all seems affordable so long as I don't want to overland to China on a
GS1200 on a regular basis.

There will now follow 30 years (so the actuary said) of motorcyling, taking
photographs, making curry and spending November in Spain.

I am now free to audition for a place on a French trip.

The work ethic is overrated. I worked last week. Poo, if you ask me.

It is. I've tried to make a virtue of being lazy, inspired by my
maths teacher, who once said that good mathematicians were often lazy
- always looking for an easier way of doing things.

Much of the worlds malaise is down to industrious people, if you ask
me.

How many people work here?
Oh, about half of them...

I had hopes and dreams riding on several thousand options that went down
the drain when the company tanked. So now I have to do it on my own.

Fuck me, you're *only* 85.

You look a lot older IRL.

If that's a whoosh, it's a spectacular one. The type that sucks your
brain out your ears with the force of the vacuum as it passes your head.
