Wondedr if anyone knows an answer to this:

I've got 2 directories with DVD files (ripped, so vob etc. files). Both
directories are about 2 Gb in size. Being the pikey bastard I am, I'd like
the DVD disc to be burned to the fullest instead of half. So what do I want?
I want to be able to put both directories on one DVD and make a sort of menu
where I can choose which directory to watch. How can this be done

Makes sense? Hope so!

Nero.

It can set them up as two separate films to be watched from a menu, just
click on which one to watch with the DVD player remote control.

I hoped as much, can you give me a pointer as to where to look in Nero?

Nero Vision Express, which is part of Nero Digital, which can be downloaded
from their website.

Drop me an e-mail and I may be able to 'help' with regard to the code key
you'll need to get it to work....

As Dave said .. when you get Nero Vision Express ...

Make a DVD - DVD Video - Add Video Files, then as it says, add the files by
browsing to where they're stored - Next button, bottom right of screen -
edit the look and feel of your cover etc. It's all pretty much intuitive
and self-explanatory and takes a shit-load of hassle out of simple editing
and movie making. - Next etc until you need to tell it to burn ... easy
peasy. ;)

Ears in prick-up mode...

This could help me too.
I have a CD with mp3 files on and I can't get them onto a
separate CD to play on my old player.
Neither Nero (I think it is old or incomplete) nor Windows Media
can read the disc.
Advice and programs will be gratefully accepted here.

This would be handy too!

Tell it to burn an audio CD and it will take your MP3s and convert them.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the

Look for isobuster. It's a free/paidfor thingy. Extra features if you
lay out some dosh, but the free one will probably do what you want.

There are various other CD data retrieval progs out there, some free,
most not.

If they are just mp3 files then it sounds like a bog standard data
disk. If nothing can read it then the CDs fecked.

Look, there are a few pieces of software that are so damn handy even
I've paid for them.

Cough up and pay up you load of tight bastards!
