bro's,
I am rebuilding a front master cylinder for a 1997 harley davidson
softtail custon. I have put it back together except for the "wiper" (
rubber gasket) that goes on the end. can anyone tell me an easy way
to put this wiper into place. It does not look like you can put too
much pressure without it breaking the wiper. I have tried pushng it
in, but it does not want to go in.....ANy suggestions
snort

First off, Thanks for your Service!
Before sliding the entire assembly into the bore.
Try, refitting the seal over the piston extension cover (a lill bit of brake
fluid on the rubber will help it all slide easier)
As you reach the point where the rubber meets the casting, carefully apply
pressure to seat it into the casting.
Careful when you reassemble the switch housing, so as not to break the brake
light switch.
Good luck
