Hi people...
Got home from work yesterday and my son says the '89 XR100R is running
funny... he said it only runs with lots of throttle... and it pings a
lot and makes smoke.
To my horror I discovered...yep...
he put KEROSENE in the tank.
I drained out the tank and flushed the system...I'm amazed it ran at
all...
Have any of you fine people run into a similar situation? Anything
else I should do or check for?

Do the carb if ya haven't already,(I would just drain the bowl) clean or
replace plug! It's a honda, he's going to have to work harder than that
to kill it! Good luck and let us know!
