Did they have a good selection of Sahara gear? I want to give their
pants another go.

I'm leaving the Keihin on the Pampera, but I'm bringing the DelOrto
along, just in case.

Eric's been prepping the bikes. I dropped off my shock at AfterShocks
yesterday for a much-needed service (Eric can't do it on the Sachs) and
perhaps some more valving. Mara wrote "more of everything" on the work
order. Hope it works. Eric put all the new plastic on my WR, along with
the original piece o' shit 739's, in preparation for sale, but it's all
coming off so I can take it to Idaho with the Gripsters on
it...woo-hoo!

We should be getting our awning stuff on Thursday, hopefully Eric can
get it all back together in one piece before we leave. Shipping for the
11' back piece costs as much as the part itself.

I've been cooking and freezing food, cleaning and stocking the van,
copying and laminating maps, cleaning the house (no, it's true!) and
picking up various odds and ends we might need in Idaho. I want to make
an enclosure for our outside shower out of the old flat awning thing we
had, but Eric says we don't have room...for 4 pieces of 1/2"
conduit and a small tarp.

We will be home preparing for the trip next weekend, instead of going
to the GP. I guess I can file those divorce papers when we get back
from Idaho. Tonight there will be no working on bikes or cooking. We're
going out to dinner to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary.

Congratulations!

It's too damn hot to cook anyhow.

Happy Anniversary Tami!
(Please tell Eric that I said the same for him.)

Save me a dance for Idaho.
I don't mind sharing you with Charles on the chick rides. <G>

Tami & Mike,
Jack Bondus is bringing me a new Sahara jersey.
He's coming in Wednesday morning, I think. I am bringing Gabe's bike
for him to use.

No kiddin'? Maybe I might orta give ol' Jack a call and let him know
what size I need?
The snaps are defective on the 30's, they keep coming unsnapped. Maybe
the 32's have better snaps.

Cool! We called our local (Santa Rosa) GG dealer for the first time
today. They had said they'd give us whatever deal we had been
previously getting (I doubt *that!*) if we'd give them our business
when I went to see them about a Ducati last year. Well, Eric told them
what he needed, they said they'd call back with prices and availability
and such. They never called, so I guess they don't want our business.

Thanks for the congrats, by the way. 14 years...wow...it feels like
only a couple of years. I can't believe Eric hasn't left me or killed
me yet. That man is a saint, for sure.

I've noticed something funny, also, about the 36's.
Not that they are coming unsnapped, but that they seemed to be sized
a bit small.
I also asked Jack to check for a sale on Hebo pants. I can't beat
their wear and long term use.

Eric will get a kick out of riding with Jack. He hangs with a pretty
fast crowd in Minnesota.
He will be there to ride and party on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
He's got to go back to MN before Sunday because he is chairman of his
club's enduro on Sunday the 6th.

I'm bringing two sets of tires (Michelin & Dunlops), a large Moose
gear bag, and a bunch (yet to be inventoried) of Moose Jerseys and
pants that Jack has donated to be auctioned off to benefit the
education fund for Chris Johnson's children.

I agree. He rides pretty good, too.

Congrats on 14 years Tami and Eric! Looking forward to seeing you both
again. I will bring a bottle of Muscadine wine and we can toast your
anniversary (a little late) when we all get to Idaho.

See ya there,

Deb

Likewise!

Sounds good to me. I got Eric a nice flask as a gift, it is engraved
with our initials and the date. He's looking forward to sitting by the
fire and drinking something nice and strong out of it.

See ya soon!

Oh yeah, you are more than welcome to take my Pamp for a ride or two in
Idaho if you like. It's a bit more, uh...broken in than what you're
used to, of course, but you might enjoy it anyway.

Yeah, but they didn't get married young like me. Tracy and I got
married at 19 years old. Why? We are from the south and I didn't
want to raise her brother's kids. :-)

Like hell! I was 29 and Eric was 27. I felt waaay too young to be
getting married.

Sounds like unusually good family planning for that age group.
