I decided to take a little spin in my backyard yesterday. About the third lap I
tucked the front wheel (I blame it on the gopher trap) and did a somersault in
front of all the neighbors. Then as I rode back into the garage standing up I
plowed a very small furrow in the top of my head on the barely noticeable
support bracket on the garage door.
I think I'm ready for Idaho.

Yeah, the next unscripted reality show! We'll be bigger than Paris Hilton.

I'm really glad you can't see my tears of laughter right about now!
It's stuff like this that makes me thankful my backyard is way too
small to take a spin in.

Uh, I'd say that you're ready to ride with *me* in Idaho!

We just have to ride together, Charles.

That's great! The funny thing is I almost posted the above as a reply to your
"ride report" hoping it would cheer you up, but I didn't want to
seem...insensitive :)

You should have heard how hard the smack was between his cranium and
the metal was. It shook my entire room. I thought he had crashed his
bike into mine or something.

This reminds of of years ago I was trying to be cool while a new girl on
the street watched me wheelie up and down the street, until while
constantly watching her breasts I didn't see the car coming down the
street, but heard the horn real loud and, well you know the rest crashed
and looked like a ass! The only good thing is she ran over and helped me
up but didn't talk to me before or after the incident!

Good thing you're ok!!
I leaned over to fix something below in the dining room and took the
sharp, 45-degree beveled point of a shelf-corner straight on the left
side of my head Sunday.
Hair might have helped soften the blow. The bleeding stopped a while
later.

Cover your head with cellophane or aluminum foil.
Place a tupperware bowl over your head.
Inject the space between the bowl & liner with expanding
foam insulation. Let cure.
Wrap the rest of your body in bubble wrap.
Are you paying attention Tami?
