I just swapped in some new low beams (superwhite 5000k.) Now, my '01
GTI VR6 seems to have forgotten it has DRL. Not that it's a big deal
or anything, but i was just wondering if my suspicion is correct. I'm
thinking it's just that my bulbs (cheap: $5 each) are simply not
capable of producing visible light at the low voltage that the DRL runs
on. I haven't had a chance to stick my voltmeter on there, but i just
wanted to get an outside opinion on it, as this is my first time
replacing bulbs on a DRL vehicle, as well as my first time using 5000k.
Sound reasonable ?
