Glad to hear it, though a month too late for us. We found a used one
that is as fine as any new one, and only owe $9000. In our market
(Detroit) I have YET to hear from any of the 5 local Saturn dealers
that they have extended 0% beyond 48 months, and we simply weren't
willing to take on a $450/mo payment. Their loss. That said, the
dealer who we were working with DID contact us in early June to say
they were offering a $750 rebate, so maybe that's what we get here,
whereas your market gets longer term financing. I'd have preferred the
latter.

Just took a look at the website and for the Detroit area the latest
incentive is a 10% off sale! (that's about $1900 off or more). That's
pretty righteous if you are getting a manual, hell it's only about
$16,000 for a drive away vehicle (still too much imho if I can't get 60
month financing, as I want paymetns closer to $325, not $425).

In any case, got my mint manual-drive Vue sight unseen online (2003)
with 23,500 miles and for $10,200 + sunroof; couldn't be happier after
1 month. The way I look at it, I saved $9000 for a mere 23,500 miles.
Thank you, thank you [Sir Creep humbly accepting your applause].
And to think, all we wanted from no-haggle Saturn was 60-month 0%
financing. Their loss.
