I recently purchased a 2002 Chrysler Concorde LXi and I am not very
happy with the Goodyear GA touring tires on it. Can anyone suggest a
decent replacement tire for this car? I am most concerned with the
amount of road noise that I believe is coming from the Goodyears. I am
wanting a quieter tire that still handles well. Is anyone aware of a
decent tire that has raised white lettering for it?
Thanks in advance
Dave

Just replaced my 2002 Chrysler 2002 LX with Michelin Hydroedge, handles much
better, a little harsher ride on roads with expansion strips. Not Noisy at
all on smooth roads. Have about 4,000 miles on them now.Paid $131.00 each at
Wal Mart.

My 02 Sebring LXi has 205/60/16 Goodyears. Has anyone mounted either
215/60/16's or 215/55/16's? Most of the charts I've seen show they're
very close (.25" +/-) in overall diameter and the difference in tread
width/rim size doesn't seem to be an issue, so speedo error won't be a
big issue. Any drawbacks? I ask, because my Goodyears are expensive
to replace, noisy and seem to wear out even when the car is parked &
there seems to be a much larger selection in the other sizes.
TIA
Bill.
