Update should be very soon.

You'll need about 20 minutes to read it all. :-) Looks like NASCAR drivers
can now switch over. Check out the tracks too.
ISI is amazing.

Hmmm 1.15 seconds 0-60 seems a shade quick :)
Even the 215bhp FWD version manages 2.7 secs with less a lower
bhp/weight ratio than a 250bhp FWD Alfa 147 GTA which manages the 0-60
sprint in a reasonably quick 6.2 secs. Even a 300bhp 4WD WRC rally car
is out accelerated by the Rhez which just loses credibility of the sim
for me. Ok if the some modders choose to make a fantasy FWD hatchback
with more than supercar performance than so be it, but ISI should know
better IMHO.
Cheers

It's obviously a misprint.

Finally some common sense:
Changed the default of the mismatch response from "immediately kick" to
"kick at beginning of race and don't allow driving in other sessions".
This gives people a chance to determine the reason for the mismatch (for
example, if a newer version of a mod was released).

This awesome rFactor web site explains exactly what the update contains.
There's screenshots (believe it or not, they are taken on a low end PC in
Direct X8) and three videos (on right side of page). There's more to come
soon too. More tracks (Euro-ring) and track updates, as well as the Panoz
and BMW F1.
I think it's time for me to get a new PC. rFactor and iracing are easily
going to make this the best year ever for sim racing IMO.

I especially noticed this:
- Vehicle inputs are now read on a thread at over 100Hz for better
precision. Can be turned off in plr file.
Isn't this a huge improvement for ISI sims, which always seemed to have
driving feel too closely linked to framerate?

Should be a nice improvement. 100 as opposed to 30. I also like the option
to force the game to always keep the frame rate at a minimum level by
automatically reducing graphic options while on track. Should help a lot of
people at race starts.

Indycar used to do that. No idea why I do remember, but I recall having
it set for a minimum frame rate of 12fps and thinking it was ok. How
times have changed and if only I could remember less trivial things :)
Cheers
