Stopped to fill up at the Esso garage on Chiswick roundabout and when I
came back there was a couple on a purple Goldwing heading off for
Scotland they said. And there's me off to work. Oh well sigh...

Purple? How revolting.
ITYM Pearl Magenta, making it a '95.
Assuming it was a 1500.

The A835 from Inverness to Ullapool is probably my favourite Scottish road.
Round here roads approximately follow old footpaths or the route the cows
took to market so frequent mid-corner adjustments are necessary to cope
with the slightly wobbly corners. On the A835 you can really settle into a
corner and just enjoy the ride.

In the morning, I'll be getting on my black Goldwing and heading off to
Chimay for a weekend of booze and classic bike racing.
Work hard.

I'm really rather looking forward to this. My bolide is prepared and
shining. I had the moderately novel activity of deciding which tools
to take with me. I've just printed out maps of where to collect my
passenger, and where the hotel is. I've found a map of France Nord in
my collection that has Calais on the LH edge, and Chimay on the RH
edge. I've made a little list of things to pack in the morning. I'm
off to bed in a mo, but not sure if I'll sleep.
I was meaning to ask you - how many are we for dinner tomorrow
evening?

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the

All the more true since that bloody carbuncle occupied by pond-dwelling
cunts was built in Embra. Devolution was just a way for cunts with
delusions of grandeur but fuckall talent to get a seat to polish with
their arse, because they sure as fuck couldn't cut it in the wider
arena.

Basic. If it couldn't be grilled, served with frites, or in a bun, it
wasn't on the menu.

The shopping-trolley BBQ the night before was much better. Even if

who'd not had the forsight to sort out some grub earlier in the day.

Just less ukrmers. It would have been useful to have a few more, er,
assertive ukrmers around (i.e. Sweller) to address the cunting froggie
cunting cunts who played crap music until 3am.
Otherwise it was a splendid weekend.

Just shout "putain!" at them until they stop or a fight breaks out.

I wish I'd been there.

It's perfectly ordinary banter. Bally Jerry, pranged his kite, right
in the how's-your-father; hairy blighter, dicky-birded, feathered back
on his sammy, took a waspy, flipped over on his Betty Harpers and
caught his can in the Bertie.

I doubt our learned cunt would have understood, as he delighted in
shouting "ooooorrrRRRIIIII" in the style of Michael Barrymore, without
the "T" (no, I don't understand either) every few minutes. I think he
was a care in the community case.
So when the ipod blew the speakers into a distorted row, they moved the
the car stereo and gave that a bit of a thumping.
Then moved back to the ipod which cut out intermittently until 3am.
I was woken by them shouting at 5am, then the europop started up on the
tannoy at 7am.
One of their clan had passed out in the middle of the field, but
unfortunately one of his cohorts had the foresight to move him out of
the way of passing cars.
