I let my wife use the washing machine, cos the programmes puzzle me. On
the other hand, she does let me fix it when it blows, due to various
metal objects that appear in it from time to time.
I've discovered that the washing machine is simply a tool for finding
10mm spanners and the like. When it finds one, it knocks loudly to let
you know.
