Harley says the '06 FXDI will get 44 city and 50 highway,
but what they don't say is that is, of course, only after
quite a few miles... I think my '94 Sporty didn't get full
mileage until I had about 2k on the odometer
Anyway, 1st fill and got 35 MPG with the Dyna... TigerJohn

Well they actually do say that and more...
'Based on tests conducted under ideal lab conditions per U.S.E.P.A. test
procedures. Your mileage will vary depending on your personal riding habits,
weather conditions, trip length, vehicle condition and vehicle
configuration. Break-in mileage will vary.'

You have factory oil in your air cleaner - wash it out and replace it
with Del Ray oil. Do not use an air hose to clean your air cleaner. It
will pass bowling balls after being blown out with an air hose.
Del Ray molecules are a fraction the size of mofomoco oil but still have
the shear stiction and electrostatic properties of an ion generator you
expect in a good air cleaner bath, in case you were wondering. Yes, that
means it gathers more dust with less air restriction on a per square
inch basis. That means better gas milage, better top end perf, smoother
idle.

I think we may have a different opinion of what "quite a few miles" is.

Thanks, I'll look into that... I'm still working my through the
owner's guide, and was not aware the air cleaner wasn't a dry

You are a clueless jerkoff.....I could care less if you go
by the name J, TigerJohm, Shithead, or whatever else you
like....
Just fix your headers so the from line isn't blank. That
would require you to understand how the software you are
using operates....
You should be able to find a place in your software in which
you would place an e-mail address, DO IT. I don't give a
damn if the address is correct or not, most of ours
aren't....we "munge" them to prevent spam.
In the time you've spent fighting this and doing your
"research", you could have fixed your headers......very easy
to do. But Noooooooo......you have to act like a pig headed
bastard child who isn't going to let anyone tell him what to
do or how to act.
> Go work on those, and get them all to post a
> real name, then come back and report... until
> then, I'll put it in words you may understand
It's not a matter of using real names, it's a matter of
using your software correctly (instead of the from line
just being fucking blank like some clueless retard was using
your computer).
I'm beginning to think there are NO words you understand at
all.....since you continue to behave like an ignorant
twit........
>
> Go bother someone who cares what you think,
> I am not going to change my name header just
> because you are a Net Nanny
I'm doing this so that I (and others) will have the ability
to filter you (a clueless jerkoff) out of the messages I
see/read. Since you insist on not fixing your headers I
can't....and will continue to point it out to you no matter
what you say about it.
I frankly don't give a shit about being called a net nanny
or anything else.....
Just learn how to use your software properly, and Do It......

What ever happened to the challenging newbies? The latest crop are just
too easy. Hey I liked your writeup of your recent putt - wish we had
time to see some of those roads. The problem with riding to Ohio from
here is all that slab to try to avoid and still make it to the meet on
time. Wonder if I can get a part-time job at the Omak wallyworld...

<sfsf> I know buddy.......
I loved having my laptop with me on that trip......allowed
me to post my ride reports (and pictures) by the day while
they were still fresh in my mind (without having to write it
all down in a Dave S logbook)......I was also able to keep
up with stuff out here.....swapped a few e-mails with the
Mrs on the trip too.......
I don't dislike riding the slab, it's got it's purpose. I
just try to plan a trip (if I've got the time) to allow me
to see stuff. If I don't have the time, I blast on the slab
to the "event"....have fun and then blast home.
Wallyworld is awash with opportunities.......<sfsf>.
Looking forward to SNIFF........maybe J will show up wearing
a nametag that says:
"Hi My Name Is: "
