It has been a long time. Seriously.
Anyone around Atlanta interested? My bike lives in a garage up in
Woodstock. I live in the city now and can't afford to keep the bikes
nearby. I can do dual sport on a semi-street legal bike (tagged KLX) or
dirt on the old-n-tired KTM. NW-based rides are easier.
Anyone interested?
That is all.

Talmage, my friend. Good to see you around.
Did you say that NW rides are best?
Well, then, Idaho Spodefest is only a bit less than three weeks
away.. August 1 through 7. Deb and I will be there (among others).
It's going to be epic!
Let's go Ridin'!

Suburb northwest of Atlanta.
There's a good suspension tuner there.

Ah-ha, sounds good, but I have to economize on the FedEx guy so I
drive my forks down the street... :-)

Any chance that you might drag Ghostrider out of hibernation too?
Things haven't been quite the same since he went all pavement and
stuff.

Hey Jim -
I would love to make a large trip but I have two week+ long trips
already planned for later in the year, Tuscany in September on
streetbikes and Buenos Aries in November to visit the FIL's girlfriend
and hopefully shoot some birds. Between the cost and the vacation time,
I will have a hard time squeaking in a trip to the john much less a
real trip somewhere.
The long hibernation is largely due to job/marital status/housing
status/street bike riding distractions. I held onto the KTM and get it
out about once or twice a year. The KLX is still tagged but I have not
hit a fire road on it in over a year. I was thinking about RMD a few
months ago when I was up riding (on the VFR) in and around West
Virginia. Recalling the plans to ride Hatfield-McCoy that I never was
able to follow through on.
Last time I saw GR was at my wedding reception in April of 2005. He had
just swapped jobs from selling cars to driving trains. Seriously.
I miss the good times. Riding, BSing, learning.
What is the best web interface for newsgroups?

Tal,
You're a busy fellow. We miss seeing you.
Deb uses Google Groups to post to and read rmd.
Others may have a better suggestion on web access.
Take care,
Jim
