Oh no! I have to hit the road for a MONTH and can't take the '74 Honda
CB360.
Can anyone help me with smart things to do before leaving?
Unhook the battery? Drain anything? Add anything?

Thanks

It'll be fine for a month. Don't give it another thought...

Some bugger would just nick the keyring.

At least that's what happened when I left my CB9 outside the house and
went away for a long weekend. Full tank of gas, fully charged battery &
key in the ignition - I came home to find it still sat there but some
sod had half-inched the key ring.

Talk about adding insult to injury :-(

Get a Battery Tender ( http://batterytender.com/ ) if you have to leave
the bike sitting periodically, but otherwise don't worry about it.
Enjoy your trip.

Put the kickstand down and park it someplace out of the weather.

Ride it when you get home.

Park it here, leave me the key, I'll keep an eye on it for
you ;-)

Top off the gas tank and make sure the petcock is off. Double check the
water level in the battery. A month is nothing.

On return from the gas station having topped the tank off you might cut
the petcock off so as to drain most of the gas from the carburetors
before you park it.

For fun you might see how far you can go before it sputters to a stop
with the gas turned off. And practice running out of gas just as you hit
your own driveway. Don't do this for too many hours else you'll have to
go back to the gas station and start over.

Get a trailer and take it with you. Or, that bike is small enough, it
might fit on a trailer hitch rack.

>Unhook the battery? Drain anything? Add anything?

To unhook the battery might be good, but just one month in summer shouldn't
be a storage problem with any of the systems.
