Anybody used this bunch recently ... http://www.roadwearuk.co.uk?
I ordered a new black visor from them at the end of June, which has still
failed to show up. I've sent them a couple of e-mails, which have been
ignored, and the telephone number they give on their site is not in service.
As the T&Cs page that gives their telephone number also gives the wrong
e-mail address for them it might just be out of date, but, even so, I'm
wondering if they've gone TU. I can't find another telephone number to try,
so there's no easy way to find out.

you could always get a PI on the case: seems to have the same phone no.

This gives a real address:

Sounds dodgy. Is it worth going via Trading Standards, and see if they
can find more information? And, of course, ask your credit card company
for your money back.
Mind, I wouldn't listen to my advice on the subject, seeing as I'm the
one that suggested you buy from them in the first place.

Since the "Contact Us" only gives a PO Box, you could try the real address
that the domain name is registered to.
Domain name:
roadwearuk.co.uk
Registrant:
Ian Terry
Registrant type:
UK Individual
Registrant's address:
31 Hectorage Road
Tonbridge
Kent
TN9 2DH

I was told yesterday that if you phone up the Post Office they will give
you the registered address of a Box Number.

That doesn't sound like a good thing.
Should I wave bye-bye to my money now?

I'm sorry mate, but I have to bow out at this point. Good luck.

Given the sort of low-lifes you know that's probably not a good thing.

I couldn't say anyway, I haven't looked at his account. I am just
unwilling to discuss current customers on a public forum or usenet, as I
think it's highly unprofessional.
