You could always fit a 1200 bandit tank it's the same tank but has a
fuel guage sender fitted, of course you'd need to add wiring to it, then
modify/mount a 1200 fuel gauge somewhere.

Thing is, most bandit fuel gauges are wildly innacurate, mine registers
half full when full, half full when switching to reserve and just above
empty when it's empty.

Much more reliable to use the trip meter:-)
