Wish I was but i'm not. How much, if any, vibration should I get on my 2003
FXDWG? When I get to about 65mph I'm getting vibrations. I know because it
blurs my vision a little but I did'n get anything through the handlebars. It
seems like the whole bike is 'singing'. I've had the wheels balanced but it
hasn't helped. Any ideas or is it the norm for the bike. Any advice
appreciated.

Mike, I can't speak for all of the bikes, but have noticed the same
thing on several that I have ridden. One of my bud's FLHT has that
65MPH buzz and my FLSTC does the same thing. I'm sure one of the old
wrenches will correct me on this, but I suspect that it has something
to do with the H-D harmonics.
I used to ride a horse and was accustomed to using my knees on those
beasts. I have noticed if I relax my knees on the bike and get them
off the tank, it makes the buzz less noticeable. Years ago, I rode a
Sporty that buzzed at every speed, so this little inconvenience is
hardly noteworthy.
My mirrors are clear at that speed, so it has become no-biggie for me.
If you find a good solution for that, let me know. I would be
interested.
