,98 Cavalier will sometimes act like a battery cable is disconnected. I can
disconnect the negative cable and reconnect it and it will start without
hestitation. I replaced the starter and soleniod a couple of months ago and
did not have the problem until now. Are there any test that I can do to find
the problem? I thought it may be the Park/Neutral Safety switch. A mechanic
told me it could be the ignition switch.
TIA

The only way to find this problem is to take a circuit diagram a test lamp
and check where you have voltage and where not.
