Hmm.. still more desirable in my eyes than the latest YamahondaSuki
GXRRR-RRRRR1000R. This person has gotten off their bum and made
something original.

And pretty much unrideable.

The maker must be a good rider then, or a brave soul. I'd like to ride a
bike with a car rear tyre, it must be interesting and quirky.

I think it's got two front tyres so the bike isn't going to do any
leaning at the front, I don't see that a car rear tyre is going to
cause much of a problem if leaning isn't going to happen.

But I know nothing :)

I've seen car rear / bike front tyre machines go round corners, they do
indeed lean. The thing is, that the rear tyre corners on one edge, which
must get quite lively if the rider tries to push it too hard.

I dunno, you know how to ride a bike and, like me, mostly stay out of
the ditches.

It's pretty simple really. Tyre manufacturers make certain types of tyre
for certain applications. Only some kind of cunt tries to think he's
clever by fitting a car tyre to a two wheeled machine. It's not big,
it's not clever and it doesn't make you look hard, even if you do shave
your head and grow a beard, it just makes you look like a wanker.

Well, that's a huge assumption you made there, unless you know the
individual who built the bike and his motives. I will suppose though,
that if you want to look hard, that's you're bussiness.

True.. but, what if it's been put together from bits of rat. :) In that
case, is my B6 a rat? It's evolved, but it isn't mat black.

Only at pedestrian speeds. I wouldn't like to trust my neck to that
front end, it looks way too flimsy - I think this "bike" should be
regarded more as an 'engineering' exercise, or a piece of art than as
a functioning motorcycle.

I'll grant you a car /rear/ tyre, having seen more than one Harley
with ludicrously wide rear wheel, fitted with a car tyre - but this
"rat" has car tyres front and rear. This would make it largely
unrideable in any sense of motorcyling with which I am familiar.
Granted, it has single-sided front and rear wheels, which is very
clever, but I think the constructor has gone too far by fitting car
tyres to it.

Unique it undoubtably is - but a usable bike? I doubt it.

I'd not want to try to do some of the stuff I've made my B6 do, it may
well put a crimp on your day. :)

Look closely, it's a bike front tyre. Granted, it may actually be a rear
tyre off a bike, but it's a bike one.

Usable like an OCC chopper? (maybe less so), I don't think a motorcycle
has to be friendly, fast or even user friendly. As an object of interest
though, yes, it's one of the most interesting I've seen so far.

I make something original everytime I goto the loo and sit on my bum.

And its about as attractive as that.

FFS, why don't they use their talents (for they obviously are talented)
to make something, well, not so daft?

Send it in to ratbike.org then, so we can all have a look. Or do what WC
did, if you think you're a botty artist.

That's the human condition, that's the way of the world. Whatever can be
built, will be built and liked by someone for some reason or other.
