....of riding your trackbike up the A10 to fill it up with petrol is:
having no mirrors to see if the cops are behind you or not, and you
only see the flashing blue lights as they go past you.
thankfully, it was an ambulance.

Maybe he was trying to be pre-emptive, and get to the scene of the
accident before it happened.

I'm sensing some attempt at an insult here...

Our chum Nigel is currently in posession of the Pahnd Coin that Champ
actually paid up in France.
He mentioned something about framing it for you - but I suspect it's
gone towards funding that trailer thing. Probably in the way of roses
for Auntie.

Humbug. Still, roses for Auntie Sharon can't be bad.

Laugh? I nearly crashed.
I was thinking, if I'm stopped, what can they do me for...
No lights
No numberplate
No speedo
No MOT
No road tax
No insurance
Non road-legal exhaust system
Probably wouldn't be a happy day in court.
All in all a perfect example of laziness -v- common sense.
Still, it *was* at 6am, with next to no traffic about.

Are you trying to compete with Tim's "I thought my bike was being
stolen, but it wasn't" post ?
