So it would be a bad time to mention that I've done something almost
WUN-like and that I may need to borrow the trailer?

Tell us all what you've bought, and if I laugh, you can indeed borrow
the trailer...

Well, the deal's not quite done yet...

Let's just say it started out as a Triumph a long way back and acquired
a couple of non-standard parts along the way...

OK on the strength of that I will remove it from the tank but I must
first find a suitable bung to retain the pint of petroil slopping round
in the tank which is keeping the rust at bay.

Also can't remember if it still has the little plastic filter or not.

Await developments.

I have in my hand a piece of Morini unobtainium.

Amazingly it still has the plastic filter.

I must have robbed it off the old basket case Strada I broke up to build
the 'Rotarini'.

It has a curious tang of congealed finest Bardahl two-stroke oil but
appears to function perfectly. I should really let some Johnny come
lately anal bike polisher from the MRC have it (as a founder member I
reserve the right to make such comments - the old guard still thrash
them as intended ) but you appear to have a stated desire to actually
ride the FFF Morini so you get first call.

Email me to arrange delivery - an address for a jiffy bag should be
adequate.
