When i come to a stop it dies and wont start untill I let it sit for a
while.

Put some gas-drier in the gas tank & set the idle up to specs. Check
the battery voltage & cables & posts /get the carb fixed/get a set of
timing chain gears put in/get the alternator checked//

You could try a different gas-station & put in a tank on Premium
Hi-Octane/it could be JUST A LOW-OCTANE GAS problem!!

Does this happen when you get up to operating temp. and do you experience
power loss?
