I have not had my bike long, a Dina Superglide. Dealer suggested a
screaming eagle carb up grade with a larger air cleaner and the screamin
eagle pipes over vnce and hines. They are a lot less expensive and
sound pretty good, but can anyone here advise me on the screaming eagle
pipes compared to the vance and hines.

Forget the carb upgrade. So little power to be gained there it just isn't
worth the money and trouble. But do have it properly jetted, that's worth every
penny. Even consider some simple carb mods, like a Thunderslide.
SE slip ons are about the best bang for the buck. The sound good (to me), make
a decent power upgrade, and don't break the bank. A full exhaust replacement is
pretty darn expensive, and generally don't make that big of a power increase.

Standard "Harley Tax"
New Pipes, K&N Air cleaner, and rejet the carb.
You dont HAVE to do all three, but if you don't, you're robbing yourself of
the bikes actual baseline.

Have an 06 Dyna Superglide. Fuel injected. You can't just change
pipes. I'm going to add the Rush exhaust to mine. You have to change
the air in so the screamin eagle stage one works great. The other
problem is there isn't a download to adjust fuel mixture. I talked to
3 differant harley shops and two independent harley speed shops. The
bike will pop and not run worth a crap. Harley recommends the race
tuner. The other guys had other tuners but bottom line is that with
fuel injected bikes you have to change the mapping so new mufflers to
get that great sound will end up costing about 1200 dollars including
labor. Seems the epa has gotten more strict. I think you'll see
other harleys running into the same problems later...
