The window went down but won't come back up. Can hear the motor inside the
door panel but nothing happens. Took the panel off and can see a cable that
looks like it should be attached to something but don't know where. Is there
somewhere that shows a diagram of how it should be attached?

When you say "cable", do you mean an electrical cable bringing power to
the motor? Presumably not, if you can hear the motor turning.
Or do you mean a mechanical cable that is transmitting the motor
rotation to the gearbox? If so, can you see the end of the cable
turning when the motor is turning? If so, does the rotation reverse
when you hit the up vs down button?
