Hi!
I've been going through racing sim websites to find the best version
possible of the Nurnburgring Nordschleife for GTR. I've noticed during
my search there are several sites and downloads for this magnificent
track, but I have absolutely no clue which one(s with possible updates)
should I donwload to get the most out of this legendary track.
Thank you for your time and effort in advance;
Matt

All current versions that I am aware of all use the old GPL Nurb as
a base. So they all share the same layout. Some have better curbing,
others better surroundings. I finally chose the 24hr Zurich layout.
There are still some individual updates you can add to any of those tracks,
but the 24hr track has the most complete package. That is until the
track makers complete the merged short GP/Nordschleife track that is
currently used for the 24hr event in real life. They started that
project many months ago, I have heard zero progress reports.

Thanks Dave!
The Zurich 24h with car packs is the one I already downloaded. And now
I'm convinced it's the one to extract too.

Well my BEST laptime isn't shown at the GTRrank site because I was using
the Dawn version instead of the daytime. But I'm pretty sure it was #%&*) [at]
yeah that sounds about right.

Damn, the curbing on that version is vicious. Just touch the curb and
you're off into the woods :)
I'd rather see a GPL style version where I can use the curbs. I know that's
not reality (running 2005 cars on the 1967 track) but still... would be fun!

Somebody had a link with a lap of the 24hr gp/Nordscheife track in a
modern BMW and first of all...MAN DO THOSE BIMMER TRANNIES SCREAM! IF you
can get over the vicious noise from the straight cut gears, you'll see
that those dang high curbs are, infact, actually in place.
I think if you get 'The Mother' version that has either low or no
curbing. But then...as you say...this is 2005..:)
