Hi Dave,
When you say..............
"The Champcar mod for F1c has enough new tracks to amuse me for
awhile. "
Does that ionclude a Surfers Paradise (Gold Coast Australia) Track.?
If so is it a conversion, or a new layout please?
Have been looking fopr something with this track. There have been some
good ones, but not since the V8 supercars one.

The CCC mega patch has all the Current and some past Champcar tracks.
So yes, Surfers is there, But I don't know which version. I'm sure it has
been tweeked by the IDT team so it's probably similar to the one that was
out when the first version of the Champcar Challenge mod came out.
Edmonton, San Jose, Milwaukee, those are some of the tracks. I think you
needed a mas file for Montreal and Road America.
But other than that, every track should be available.

geez Dave, trying to downlaod thse files from this hemisphere is a
nightmare. As I basically only want it for the Gold Coast track file
do you know................
a) which rar the tracks are in?
b) if I just dload that rar whether I could use filter properties to
run it on other modes?

pt 3. The 'small' file at 187mb. IT has a surfer's folder. I don't know
if the other parts also contain bits.

Just a note to anyone that was following this thread.
Yes the Gold Coast Indy Circuit is updated ,and bloody well too.
The CCC is a fantastic mod, and now not only do I have the circuit I
was after, but also Formula Atlantic and a whole range of Chamcar
series to race there too.
worth the d'load for sure.

I think you are right, but I only know the very first version of the mod. In
that version the sounds was very weak. Did they improve in that area?
