I get a CTD whenever I try to run this track. Was there an update I missed
for this one, or have I screwed this track up somehow? I've never run the
track so I doubt I changed any of the files. I tried re-installing the
track but now the Crash To Desktop occurs as soon as I click the arrow to
load the track. Before the track would load all most half way before the
CTD.
Any ideas?

yes, I think you either have to get a replacement scn file or
search the scn file you have for a grouping of lines that has the mention
of a tent07 in them. use the// to comment them out.

here's an even better solution. Get the Champcar Mega patch and use the
updated Mexico in there. Then you'll have the baseball grandstands and
plenty of improvements.

Dave,
Thanks for the help, yet again.
I just got the Champcar mod from IDT over the weekend, before I read your
reply...what a blast. I was getting a CTD when I would try to load some
vehicles. But I figured it was from a bad reference to sound files and got
them fixed. But, I can't run the celebrity race. Whenever I select a
Celica and press the arrow to go to the track selection screen I get a CTD.
The car loads in the viewer when I select it, but as soon as I hit the arrow
to go to the track screen...CTD.
Any ideas what is causing this CTD?
Thanks,
Gary Beard

i haven't even had time to explore the Celicas.(pronounced sell-ICK-ah in
the USA and se-LEEK-ah in England?). I got some CTD's in the 2005 season.
Not at first tho. I loaded the AJ ALmindinger car just fine, then later
tried the Atlantics..and when I went back to the 05's they would all crash.
I finally got Gil De Ferran's Penske and that was ok. I'd say the best way
to find the CTD is look at the trace file.

Dave,
I was running the mod from the .exe but when I used the .exe.lnk no more
CTD...go figure.
