If I understand ya right, it's after. Whatever it is after
alterations have been made. Prior rake is irrelevant after stretchin'
backbone and/or down tubes... or any other geometry mods.
Now to cornfuse ya some more, it's possible to severely alter a frame
and end up with th' very same rake as stock <g>.

Not that I'm aware of. Not on usenet anyway. This place ain't too
bad tho. I'm pretty sure someone in here'll post a link er two to
some rake/trail info.

Thanks. This is exactly what I wanted to know. I have a motor ('98
Evo with new pistons and cam), and am looking for the perfect frame to
put it into.
Thanks for the info!

My personal fave for frames:
http://www.kennedyschopper.com/Frames.html
and the one with all the front end info:
http://www.tolle.se/index.php?lang=eng
Check out the "Technical Hints " link. Has a section on trail.
Damn, I *gotta* build me another chopper.

Thanks for the heads up about posting. The project will come along
slowly, I think, but I will try to post links to some pics as things
progress.
