This is for an 81 258 engine, but should be same for 88

What engine is in it? Stock the 88 came with a 4.2 engine, the newer
ones came with the 4.0 engine.
The torque specs for the two engines are 'not' the same.
The chart Greg posted will work if you have a 4.2 only.

Isn't Google great, couldn't beleive it when we put my remanned engine in
my 81, I type in 258 engine torque specs and what comes up first, torque
specs for an 81 258.
