The image of the month is stunning. Also somewhere I'd not heard of
before. I know very little about Algeria.
"Jointly given the name of "Pentapolis of M'Zab", the desert cities of
Ghardaia, El Atteuf, Bounoura, Melinka, Beni Isguen are the main
cultural and tourist attraction poles in Algeria, and masterpieces of
architecture and town planning."
Has anyone here visited?

Pretty much the whole world (excluding oceans and ice caps has been
scanned at 30m resolution. Orthagonically corrected tiles (which fit
together) can be downloaded free from
http://glcf.umiacs.umd.edu/data/landsat/
Three scans which approximate to red, green and blue can be photoshopped
together to make a real colour image.
Files are LARGE. Each channel is approx 8000x8000 pixels and if you
piece a few together to get a wider area you can easily exceed 2Gb files
size. Don't try to download the whole world as it's about 3Tb although
if you really want it, it can be bought for the cost of 14 200Gb Drives
plus a ssmall admin fee.
