In GTR, at least at Spa, some of the curbs can help a car
turn quicker if you drive the inside wheels over the curbing.
This doesn't seem realisitic to me, but it helps reduce lap
times, so I use it.
Is it just my system, or do any others here experience the
same thing?

I believe that's a fairly common practice among RL road racers (provided the
curbs are or the right height and angle).
A few of the Nascar Cup guys picked that trick from Robby Gordon at Watkins
Glen a couple of years ago (particularly in the Inner Loop)

Thanks, although at Spa I haven't seen any videos of someone doing this.
I have a video of David Coulthard at Spa in 2002, with a qualifying setup,
and although he touches the curbs, it's pretty clear tha the curbs aren't
pulling the car towards them the way it does in GTR.

Here's a site with a quite a few videos of a Caterham in action, including
Spa, with one showing why coolant (anti-freeze) isn't allowed for racing,
as it's very slippery and led to two cars crashing, inluding the web site
author's car. He had just got his engine problems sorted out at Spa only
to end up with the car getting wrecked.

I just spin everytime I go over them, it's like the car loses aero d/f from
under the car or something.
