If I had a motorcycle chain in one hand
and a ruler in the other hand, what would
I measure to determine if the chain was
a 520, 525, 530 or other size chain?
Thank you.

I'll note that you should be running the recommended size chain for your
bike, so check the owner's manual and obtain the right size.
That said, here's the information, courtesy of-

and 5-10 minutes worth of Google goodness.
Here's Tsubaki's spec sheet:

'indiana' is a 'nolnn' and 'hoosier' is a 'solkk'. Indiana doesn't solkk.
