Hey ppl’s im a new user and i’ve just bought my first bike, its a 1983
suzuki gsx 250 and as far as i can tell, there is a key lock to lift
up the seat, however when i turn the lock it does not release the
seat, I dont want to force it as yet as im not sure if ill break it, I
was wondering if anyway knows if the lock at the rear left of the bike
is for the seat and if so which way the seat opens so i can use a bit
more pressure.
Any hints or tips would be much appreciated.

Try pushing firmly down on the back of the seat while turning the key
to the right.

cheers man after i went to have a look i discovered to latches
attached to the seat i hadnt noticed before and it comes off nicely
