HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I own a 94 heritage softail. Just finished replacin
the pinion shaft bearing(right side), retainin ring, pinion shaft oil pump
drive gear, oil pump drive gear, new clips and keys and also new oil pump.
Ran the engine for couple of days still on the lift. Today bein such a nice
day here in NY, took the bike out and didn't even get 2miles away from home
and behold, the oil light was on and no pressure on the gauge. Got it home
and took the nose cone off and the pinion oil pump drive gear was shreaded.
Anyone experince this before or have any idea what caused this?

No. Not anyone that can wrench.

Yes. You are not a good wrench. Also, running the engine for two days
on a lift probably caused major overheating and caused meltdown.

lmao............................what a fuckin joke, thought you might get
some good answers, but we get JOKES. Don't know anyone who would run their
engine for 2 days on a lift...............................think about it.
Engine was started and ran for about 5mins aday. And who are you say that
someone's not a good wrench
